Extract: Described is a new software package capable of assessing dietary intake by number of servings from major/minor food groups, by nutrients contributed by food groups, and by total nutrient intakes. The program is available to users of the University of Massachusetts Nutrient Data Bank and can serve as a prototype for developers and users of other nutrient data bank systems.(author)
