3-O-Acetylbeiwutine from Aconitum liaotungeuse

Together with 17 known alkaloids, a new diterpene alkaloid was isolated from the roots of Aconitum liaotungeuse and identified as 3-O-acetylbeiwutine by spectral analysis and chemical transformation from beiwutine. Complete and unambiguous assignments of the 1H and 13C NMR data of both compounds were made by a combination of one- and two-dimensional techniques (COSY, DQF-COSY, ROESY, HMQC, HMBC and selective INEPT).
