American lifestyle leading to diabetes at younger and younger ages

This article reports on the growing number of people under the age of 45 with Type 2 diabetes. Reports from the Center for Disease Control indicating a decrease in serious diabetes-related complications could be avoided if regular screening for diabetes was provided at age 25 rather than age 45 are cited.
