During the growth of Morris- hepatoma No. 3924 in rats changes in the level of trace elements were observed using neutron activation analysis. The increase of copper concentration in the plasma correlated with the incorporation of ³H-thymidine in the tumor. In contrast to our investigations on Yoshida-sarcoma, the decrease of manganese in the liver did not correlate with the incorporation of tritiated thymidine in the hepatomas.
