Estimates of corn use for major food and industrial products
1985
Livezey, J.
Extract: This article presents a historical breakout of corn use for food and industrial products. A discussion of the three major corn processing industries as well as the products they produce is included. Most of the growth in corn use is attributed to steadily increasing demand for high fructose corn syrup and fuel alcohol. The outlook is for continued growth, but at a slower pace.
