Khawlhring, Nuchhungi | Thanga, James L.T. | Lalnunmawia, F.
The performance of anthurium leaves as affected by treatment with different conventional nutrient sources was studied. Average leaf number as well as leaf areas were analyzed. Leaf contents of Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium were also analysed. Application of NPK was found superior over applications of Pig manure, Biofertilizers, Cattle manure, Poultry manure and no additional nutrient source in the number of leaves as well as average leaf area produced by the plants. Largest average leaf areas were obtained at a time when lowest number of leaves was recorded.
