Malnutrition is commonly present in an elderly with cancer and this state represents an additional risk factor, among others, on the effectiveness of treatments. It is therefore essential to ensure appropriate nutritional support as early as possible. In the following clinical case, the different stages of nutritional management are described: the diagnosis diet, nutritional strategy and evaluation, taking into account the educational opportunities of the patient and his entourage.
