Is seafood a heart saver?
1996
Liebman, B.
The health benefits of fish consumption have been reported in several clinical studies, but a few other studies have shown no link between eating fish and a lower risk of disease. The limits of the present state of knowledge about the benefits of fish consumption in the prevention of heart disease are discussed. The authors conclude that fish oil supplements cannot be recommended based on the current knowledge, but that fish should be consumed two or three times a week. A food composition table lists the amount of fat in some fish and fish products.
