interaction between Eimeria acervulina and dietary aflatoxin in chicks (exper.) and effect of alfatoxin on anticoccidial activity of monensin, both duodenal coccidiosis and alfatoxicosis depressed weight gain, feed efficiency, and plasma pigmentation, combined these disease agents depressed these criteria more than did either agent alone (this depression was additive rather than synergistic), dietary aflatoxin did not interfere with protective effect of monensin
