2001
Egharevba, R.K. | Osunde, D.O.
The effect of oil treatment levels of 0.0, 1.52, 3.04 and 4.56%, respectively, on seedling growth of Chrysophyllum albidum G. Don and Dacryodes edulis G. Don were studied under tropical lowland rainforest vegetation in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. The results showed that oil treatment of soil at high concentrations of 3.04% and 4.56% adversely affected the growth performances of these crops in terms of plant height, collar girth leaf area, leaf number and dry weight, respectively.
