Olive knot is an old disease that also appears in olive growing areas in Croatia. In some years and especially in nurseries it has caused significant damage. The damages are presented as well as the infection sources, the factors that are imperative for infection realisation and the symptoms. A review of variety sensitivity is given. Protection measures are recommended. In Croatia only one agent based on copper oxichloride is licensed for controlling olive knot.
