Fast-growing man-made forests and diversity —Cupressus lusitanica in the Sudan | Reinbestände schnellwachsender fremdländischer Baumarten und Diversität —Cupressus lusitanica im Sudan
1998
Hulig, S. | Uhlig, Käte | Adam, A.
A survey of the species composition of soil plants in man-made forests of Cupressus lusitanica revealed an increasing diversity with growing age of the stands reaching nearly the same number of species as in the natural mountain savannah but surmounting by far that of non-forest abandoned land. Only a portion of the savannah species invaded into the forest. Most of the species found in the forest, however, were introduced from moister places like valleys etc.
