Dictyocaulus viviparus, cell adherence to larvae in vitro associated with heat labile factor (presumably complement) in normal bovine serum and heat stable factor (presumably antibody) in hyperimmune serum, factor associated with leucocytes in vitro appeared to cause larval immobility, results suggest that eosinophils are important element in host defense against D. viviparus infection
