The future as seen by agricultural engineers

Technological and agricultural developments that will be present in the twenty first century are described. Most of the advances mentioned center around food systems, energy and farming. By the year 2076, 75 percent of all meals will be prepared outside the home. Unprecedented improvement in the understanding of energy conversion will be seen. Plants ranging from algae to trees will be grown specifically for their energy content. Farming equipment will be powered by nuclear energy or electro mechanical energy.
