The Influence of Liming and Mineral Fertilization on the Content of Available Forms of Phosphorus, Potassium and Magnesium in Haplic Luvisols
2012
Nazarkiewicz, Małgorzata | Kaniuczak, Janina
The research was carried out on a permanently fertilised field in the area of the Rzeszów Foothills in 1998-2001 with Haplic Luvisols developed from loess. Pasture sunflower, winter wheat, potatoes and spring barley were cultivated in a 4-year cropping system. Different mineral fertilizers NPK with constant Mg fertilization and different mineral fertilization NPK with constant Mg and Ca fertilization were applied in the experiment. Liming was applied in the form of CaO (at the dose of 2.86 t Ca·ha⁻¹). The experiment included 14 fertilizer objects, in 4 repetitions according to the random sub-blocks method. Analysis of variance (Anova) was applied in statistic processing for double classification: liming (A) and mineral fertilization (B) independently of liming. Liming and mineral fertilization raised the phosphorus content in the Ap horizon. Mineral fertilization decreased the magnesium content in the Bt horizon. The combined effect of liming and mineral fertilization raised the magnesium content in the Bt horizon.
