A field experiment was conducted at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad on medium black soil during rabi season of 2011–12 the effects of Effects of foliar application of nutrients to enhances the growth and yield in wheat crop under different dates of sowing. Among different treatments, foliar application of Starter @ 2% at 15 and 45 DAS + Booster @ 2% at 55 and 70 DAS has recorded significantly higher grain yield (39.97 q ha⁻¹) and straw yield (74.48 q ha⁻¹) and growth parameters i.e. higher plant height (73.19 cm) leaf area (41.23 dm²) and leaf area index (1.79) and total DM production (175.36 g) 0.5 m⁻¹ row length at 90 DAS. Among the interactions effects, foliar application of starter @ 2% at 15 and45 DAS+ Booster @ 2% at 55 and70 DAS in timely sowing (F8D1) recorded maximum total DM production (179.88 g) 0.5 m⁻¹ row length, plant height (76.04 cm), leaf area (42.05 dm²) and leaf area index (1.83) at 90 DAS. Significantly, higher grain and straw yields (40.94 and 76.08 q ha⁻¹).
