Foods from 14 restaurants like Denny's, Shoney's, Big Boy, Coco's, and Marie Callender's were analyzed for calorie content, total fat content, saturated fat and trans fat content, cholesterol content, and sodium content. The entree dishes include the "comfort foods" meat loaf, pot roast, and country fried steak. Mashed potatoes with gravy and apple pie were also included in this food composition table. The amount of fat in selected fast foods are included for comparisons.
