Aluminium in infant feeding: is it a problem?
1992
Bishop, N.J.
Aluminium has the potential to cause major toxic effects when deposited in sensitive tissues. Knowledge of the aluminium content of reconstituted formula is likely to be helpful in the management of infants with immature or reduced renal function. There is as yet, however, no firm evidence that aluminium contamination of milk formulas for healthy infants represents a risk to their long-term growth or development.
