The plant spacing of 30 x 10 cm with variety BDU-1 was found to be significantly superior over rest of the plant spacings and varieties in respect to plant height (cm), number of leaves, leaf area (cm), mean dry matter production, number of braches per plant, leaf area index, biological yield (kg/ha) and seed yield (kg/ha)
