Herpetomonas megaseliae, Crithidia fasciculata, Leptomonas collosoma, culture forms can survive gut passage in Anolis carolinensis, no lasting infections established, no invasion of tissues or circulating blood by H. megaseliae, body forms of parasites occurring in gut content and fecal material when only single genus was present, comparison of these forms with those previously described from gut of lizards
