The content of hydrocarbons, including polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the bottom sediments of Nakhodka Bay has been studied. It is shown that the content of the pollutants is similar to that of low polluted areas of the World Ocean. The PAH and PCB concentrations in Nakhodka Bay do not exceed the toxic thresholds and do not pose a threat to the existence of aquatic organisms.
