Some issues of prevention of animal poisoning by weeds and harmful plants.
2023
Irrational use of natural forage lands, failure to carry out maintenance and improvement measures, led to the deterioration of natural grassland, driving out better edible pasture grasses and replacing them with inedible or poorly edible plants. The presence of such plants not only reduces the useful area, yield and quality of feed, but also leads to poisoning of animals, mechanical damage, which often results in death. Early spring driving of the animal from barn feeding to the pasture is associated with a strong craving for green food. At this time, the animal misses green food and indiscriminately eats everything, all kinds of green plants, which is why the possibility of poisoning is greater. Ref. 10.
