Spanish; Castilian.

Fecal digestibility and nitrogen balance were determined. For this, 8 commercial castrated male pigs of 13 kg of average body weight were used. The pigs were distributed according to a Latin 3x3 double square design in three treatments. The treatments consisted of diets of corn flour and soybeans, with or without the replacement of the protein source by 0 (control Tto), 33% (Tto I) and 66% (Tto II) by Protilen ω3. The composition of the diets met the requirements and was considered sanitary for animal consumption. Regarding digestive indices, digestibility, high values were obtained for animals in this category, although there were no significant differences (p 0.05) between the concentrate with the replacement or not of soy flour by Protilen ω3. It was concluded that the protein concentrate Protilen ω3 has high digestibility and it is possible to substitute the protein of soybean meal in the diet without affecting the digestive indices
