The use of mixed plantings, where one crop is grown alternately with others, is not new in the world and some plants have been used since ancient times, but not in large quantities. In recent years, with more focus on more sustainable and environmentally friendly production, interest in them is growing. The most mixed plantings are used in the cultivation of cereals and corn, where they are most often combined with buttercups, but so far there has been little research on the use of mixed plantings efficiency in gardening. The article gives a little insight into the results of the mixed planting in studies for strawberries. [ABSTRACT IN LATVIAN] Jaukto stādījumu, kur vieni kultūraugi tiek audzēti pamīšus ar citiem, izmantošana pasaulē nav sveša un daļai augu tiek izmantota jau kopš seniem laikiem, taču ne lielos apjomos. Pēdējos gados, vairāk pievēršoties ilgtspējīgākai un videi draudzīgākai ražošanai, interese par tiem arvien pieaug. Visvairāk jauktos stādījumus izmanto graudaugu un kukurūzas audzēšanā, kur tos visbiežāk kombinē ar tauriņziežiem, bet maz līdz šim bijis pētījumu par jaukto stādījumu izmantošanas efektivitāti dārzkopībā. Rakstā neliels ieskats par rezultātiem jaukto stādījumu pētījumos zemenēm.
