Unregulated commercial species in the Northwest Atlantic (NAFO Convention Area) and the possibility of their resources development | Нерегулируемые промысловые виды в Северо-Западной Атлантике (СЗА, зона НАФО) и возможность освоения их ресурсов

Представлены данные о неквотируемых промысловых объектах в пределах Северо-Западной Атлантики (СЗА). Указано, что в данном регионе квотируется 11 основных объектов промысла на 20 участках, причем на 10 из них промысел запрещен. Основой для анализа имеющихся данных послужили работы наблюдателей ЮгНИРО (Россия) и материалы, предоставленные НАФО. Проведенное исследование позволило выделить не квотируемые на данный момент промысловые объекты, имеющие определенное промысловое значение. Показано, что в эту группу входят макрурусы (Macrourus berglax и Coryphaenoides rupestris), акулы (Lamna nasus, Somniosus microcephalus и Apristurus profundorum), зубатки (Anarhichas minor, Anarhichas lupus и Anarhichas denticulatus), атлантический большеголов Hoplostethus atlanticus, морской черт Lophius americanus, антимора Antimora rostata и атлантическая длинная камбала Glyptocephalus cynoglossus. Приведены основные сведения (пространственное распределение, районы вылова, биомасса, особенности морфологии и нереста) по каждому из наиболее перспективных видов. Указано, что, как правило, эти объекты облавливаются в качестве прилова.

The data on quota-free commercial fish species within the Northwest Atlantic are given. It is noted that 11 of the main fishery objects are currently quoted on 20 subareas, whereas there is a fishing ban for 10 of them. Materials for the research were provided by the international observers (YugNIRO, Russia); a number of NAFO reports (in particular, from the Journal of Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Science) were processed. Analysis of the available data allowed to identify present quota-free objects that have a certain commercial value, which are grenadiers (Macrourus berglax and Coryphaenoides rupestris), sharks (Lamna nasus, Somniosus microcephalus and Apristurus profundorum), dogfish (Centroscyllium fabricii and Squalus acanthias), orange roughy Hoplostethus atlanticus, wolffish (Anarhichas minor, Anarhichas lupus and Anarhichas denticulatus), monkfish Lophius americanus, blue hake Antimora rostata and witch flounder Glyptocephalus cynoglossus. Data on geographical distribution, spawning conditions, fish catch statistics, biomass and length-weight parameters of the most perspective among the studied species are given. It is marked that those objects are only caught as by-catch.
