Diversité des demosponges tunisiennes | Diversity of Tunisian demosponges

La revue des travaux réalisés jusqu’en 2003, relatifs à la systématique des spongiaires, à la bionomie benthique et aux inventaires de la biodiversité marine en Tunisie, ainsi que les nombreuses signalisations récentes, nous ont permis de dresser une liste de 143 espèces de démosponges en Tunisie. Elles se répartissent dans 65 genres, 37 familles et 13 ordres (dont 3 sous ordres), et sont représentées de façon non homogène dans les régions Nord, Sud et Est de la Tunisie. La région Sud est la plus riche aussi bien au niveau générique que spécifique. Ces espèces sont classées en trois groupes différents. Le premier groupe est composé de 33 espèces à large répartition géographique s’étalant du Nord au Sud de la Tunisie ; le second groupe est composé de 37 espèces qui ont été signalées dans deux régions à la fois (Nord et Sud, Nord et Est ou Est et Sud). Le troisième groupe, composé de 72 espèces, est le plus important et la répartition géographique des espèces qui le composent est restreinte à l’une des trois régions retenues (soit la région Nord, ou bien la région Est ou bien la région Sud). Par ailleurs l’étude de similarité entre ces trois régions (coefficient de Czekanowski), plutôt faible et assez proche pour les 3 régions, ne permet pas de tirer une conclusion satisfaisante quant à la présence d’un centre potentiel de diffusion régionale. Bien au contraire la présence du contingent de 72 espèces à occurrence régionale unique, renforce l’idée de l’existence de spécificités régionales des stocks des démosponges tunisiennes, notamment dans la région Nord et Sud de la Tunisie.

مراجعة الدّراسات المتعلّقة بالنظام الإسفنجي من ناحية وبالأنظمة البحريّة القاعيّة وغيرها الّتي تهتمّ ببيان التنوّع البيولوجي البحري التونسي من ناحية أخرى، مكّنتنا من تصنيف 143 نوع من الإسفنج (ديموسينج) لها توزيع مختلف حسب الجهات الشماليّة والشرقيّة والجنوبيّة للبلاد التونسيّة. وتنقسم هذه الأصناف إلى ثلاثة فئات : الأولى منها تتكوّن من 33 صنف متميّز بتوزيع جغرافي ممتدّ على الجهات الثلاث والثانية متكوّنة من 37 صنف موجودة بجهتين اثنين في نفس الوقت. أمّا الفئة الثالثة والمتكوّنة من 72 صنف فلا توجد إلاّ في جهة واحدة من الجهات الثلاثة. من جهة أخرى دراسة التشابه بين الجهات الثلاثة (شمال، شرق وجنوب) لا تمدّ بنتيجة مرضيّة حول إمكانيّة وجود مركز انتشار للأصناف السابق ذكرهم.

A review of studies carried out until 2003 on sponge systematic, benthic bionomy and on Tunisian marine biodiversity, as well as recent signalisations, allowed us to draw up a list of Tunisian demosponges (Demospongiae, Porifera) of 143 species, belonging to 65 genera, 37 families and 13 orders (including three sub-orders), not equitably distributed within the three Tunisian geographical regions: North, east and south. The southern one is the most rich in number of species and genera. Besides, the species are divided in three groups. The first one of 33 species, has a large geographical repartition from the North up to the South of Tunisia,; The second one, of 37 species occurring in two regions at the same time (north and east, north and south or east and south). While the third group of 72 species, the most important one, has a geographical repartition restricted to one only of the three regions (northern region or the eastern region or the southern one). Furthermore, a Czekanowski’s coefficient, weak and not so different from a region to an other, as well as the existence of a contingent of 72 species with a single regional occurrence, don’t allow conclusions regarding the existence of a regional centre of species diffusion, but support the idea of regional specificity for the Tunisian demosponges stocks, mainly in the southern and northern region.
