Crecimiento del híbrido de tilapia roja oreochromis sp con agua de pozo a diferentes densidades

Se realizó un estudio sobre el crecimiento del híbrido de Tilapia roja con agua de pozo a 3 diferentes densidades. El trabajo se lo realizó en la camaronera “Marieliza”, de la Parroquia Palmales, Cantón Arenillas, provincia de El Oro. Fueron objetivos de este trabajo: 1.Determinar la respuesta en peso y talla de la Tilapia roja Oreochromis sp. Durante el cultivo en jaula, 2.Determinar la sobrevivencia al final del cultivo. Los alevines que se utilizaron fueron adquiridos a través de la Empresa Acuarios, en loa provincia de El Oro. La densidad de siembra fue de 100, 200 y 300 tilapias por jaula. Las tilapias fueron alimentadas con balanceado de 35 % inicialmente, luego se redujo el porcentaje de proteína al 28 % extrusado y fueron alimentados tres veces al día (6H30, 12H30 y 18H30). El incremento de peso, incremento de longitud, incremento de altura, sobrevivencia y la conversión alimenticia no fueron afectadas por las densidades de siembra. Se detectó diferencias estadísticas significativas en la producción total en el rendimiento por unidad de área, siendo mejor la densidad de 300 peces, seguido de 200 peces y por último la de 100 peces.
