The Group of Experts on Marine Information Management (GE-MIM) met recently at the IODE Project Office in Oostende, Belgium (17-20 September 2007). The Group discussed a wide rang of topics and issues on marine information management and marine libraries. The Group decided to focus on clear actions that can be achieved within an inter-sessional period of one year, a it is hoped to hold GEMIM-X in September 2008.
