English. This study examined which instruments could be used to give substance to the objectives of strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of Dutch agriculture. The study focused on the application of the CAP after 2013. To this end, an inventory of existing instruments has been made and described, and then tested on the basis of a number of criteria. The preferences of agricultural entrepreneurs were ascertained by means of a survey, and the opinions of sector and chain experts were also sought. The policies of a number of other EU member states were examined to ascertain whether they offer suggestions for policy in the Netherlands.
Show more [+] Less [-]Dutch; Flemish. Onderzocht is welke instrumenten invulling kunnen geven aan de doelstelling versterking van de concurrentiekracht en duurzaamheid van de Nederlandse landbouw. Het onderzoek is gericht op de toepassing van het GLB na 2013. Hiertoe zijn bestaande instrumenten geïnventariseerd en beschreven en vervolgens aan de hand van een aantal criteria getoetst. Met een enquête is de voorkeur van agrarische ondernemers gepeild en ook is de mening van sector- en ketendeskundigen gevraagd. In het beleid van enkele andere lidstaten is nagegaan of het suggesties biedt voor het beleid in Nederland.
