English. The Crop Growth Monitoring System (CGMS) provides operational services and analysis tools to the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC) in the area of crop monitoring and crop yield forecast, as part the MARS Crop Yield Forecasting System.

Om deze indicatorwaarden zowel ruimtelijk als temporeel te kunnen analyseren, wordt een geavanceerde viewer ontwikkeld die de huidige MARSOP website zal vervangen. Met de viewer kunnen weersomstandigheden en gewasproductie van het huidige jaar geanalyseerd worden in relatie met het langjarig gemiddelde of andere specifieke jaren. Deze viewer wordt samen met andere IT aspecten van het CGMS besproken
