Following the request made by participant 6 in charge of the building up of the structure of the database, INRA has indicated its interest and defined its specific needs with respect to information needed by forest tree breeders.Data from French reproductive basic material of larch have been gathered together with partner 2 (Cemagref) and shared with partner 6 in charge of filling up the database. In addition, we have contacted colleagues from different countries not participating to this project (DK, NL, PL, RO, SK) in order to have them share information about their reproductive material. The objective is indeed to get the more complete information across Europe as possible.Discussion about dissemination of this work has found a first solution through a paper catalogue publication, but clearly a web dissemination would be preferred but it is outside the scope of this project. Question is also about the maintenance of this service for the future (adaptation to software, up-dating data, etc).
