Determination of resistance of mulberry forms to phytoplasma disease using fluorescence parameters.
2023
The resistance of five mulberry forms to phytoplasma disease was studied. In these forms, the peculiarities of the photosynthetic process were investigated - the activities of the reaction centers PS1 and PS2, the intensity of electron transport between photosystems - ETR, the values of pigments (chlorophyll A and B, carotenoids), the value of pH in the leaf extract and the content of vitamin C. Based on the obtained results, the form-1, form-2 and form-3, which have all the properties of resistance to phytoplasma disease can be distinguished from the five forms of mulberry as the forms, which have all the properties of resistance to phytoplasma disease.
