Results of studying the effectiveness of clay minerals as natural agrominerals in the humid subtropics of Western Georgia.

The different forms of clay minerals found in Martvili and Senaki municipalities are given, which, in parallel with the geological investigations, were studied for the effectiveness of their agrochemical indicators in the plantations of corn and tangerine on red soil and humus carbonate soils, their impact on the processes taking place in the soil, as well as on the chemical and qualitative indicators of the plant. Based on the results of scientific research, the possibility of using them as natural fertilizers, which have a certain effect on the mobilization of nutrients and optimization of plant nutrition, and which is manifested in the improvement of the physico-chemical processes of the soil and the increase in yield, have been established. They contain a complex of macro- and microelements, which determines their advantage for plant nutrition; at the same time, they are an effective ameliorant, a guarantee of receiving economically cheap and environmentally safe products.
