Kuzey Marmara Bölümündeki dağılımı, orman işletme şekilleri ve karışıma katıldığı meşcerelerin yapısı

With this study, the characteristics of the habitat and the distribution of the stands in the areas representing the distribution of the pedunculate oak in the Marmara Region of Türkiye were determined, and the current establishment characteristics of the stands in these areas were determined. In addition, based on the results obtained and the field investigations and observations, evaluations were made about the forest management methods and conservation targets of the pedunculate oak, which grows in similar habitats in the region. The study material was selected from a total of 6 locations within the natural distribution areas of the pedunculate oak in the Marmara Region, with some parameters obtained from single trees, clusters, groups, and stands. In addition, the characteristics of the habitat, as well as the investigations and observations on vegetation were used. With the results obtained, it is aimed to create a base on the basis of species for forest planning studies to be carried out in the future and to contribute to the sustainable management of pedunculate oak forests

Bu çalışma ile, saplı meşenin Türkiye’de Marmara Bölgesi’ndeki yayılışını temsil edecek alanlarda yetişme ortamı özelliklerini ve meşcerelerdeki dağılımı belirlenerek, hangi ekolojik şartlarda varlığını sürdürdüğü saptanmış ve bu alanlardaki meşcerelerinin aktüel kuruluş özellikleri ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca elde edilen sonuçlar ile arazi inceleme ve gözlemlerine dayanarak, bölgedeki benzer yetişme ortamlarında yayılış gösteren saplı meşenin orman işletme şekilleri ve koruma hedeflerinin nasıl olması gerektiğine ilişkin değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışma materyalini, saplı meşenin Marmara Bölgesi’ndeki doğal yayılış alanlarından seçilen toplam 6 yöredeki; tek ağaç, küme, öbek, grup ve meşcerelerden elde edilen bazı parametreler oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca yetişme ortamı özellikleri ile vejetasyona ilişkin inceleme ve gözlemlerden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar ile gelecekte yapılacak olan orman planlama çalışmalarına tür bazında altlık oluşturulması ve saplı meşe ormanlarının sürdürülebilir yönetimine katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır.
