Memorias II Congreso colombiano de espeleología 2021 : macroinvertebrados acuáticos en ecosistemas endo y exocársticos del departamento de Santander, Colombia | Aquatic macroinvertebr ates in endo and exocarstic ecosystems of the department of Santander, Colombia

Los macroinvertebrados acuáticos asociados a ecosistemas endo y exocársticos han sido poco estudiados en Colombia. Desde el año 2016 hasta el año 2019 se han realizado exploraciones en cavernas de Santander, Colombia, para reco- nocer a la fauna habitante de estos ecosistemas. En otros departamentos como Cesar y Antioquia, son escasos los estudios en especial aquellos que se enfocan en macroinvertebrados acuáticos. Este estudio consideró 13 puntos de muestreo de ecosistemas endo y exocársticos de Santander. Los muestreos se realizaron usando redes de mano, una red Surber y red D, como resultado se colectaron ejemplares de 50 especies de macroinvertebrados acuáticos. Los órdenes con mayor número de taxones fueron Diptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera y Odonata. Es importante resaltar el encuentro de una nueva especie del género Telmatotrephes (Hemiptera: Nepidae). Se obtuvieron 11 especies no registras previamente realizando un aporte significativo al conocimiento de los macroinvertebrados acuáticos en eco- sistemas endo y exocársticos de Santander.

Aquatic macroinvertebrates associated to endokarst and exokarst ecosystems have been little studied in Colombia. From 2016 to 2019, explorations have been carried out in Santander caves to recognize the fauna that live in these ecosystems. In other departments such as Cesar and Antioquia, studies are scarce, especially those that consider aquatic macroinvertebrates. In this study, 13 sampling points of endo and exokarst ecosystems of Santander. The sam- plings were carried out using hand nets, a Surber sampler and D-net, as a result, specimens of 50 species of aquatic macroinvertebrates were collected. The orders with the highest number of taxa were Diptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera and Odonata. It is important to highlight the discovery of a new species of the genus Telmatotrephes (Hemiptera: Nepidae). 11 species with no bibliographic antecedents in caves were found. Therefore, the number of records of aqua- tic macroinvertebrates in endokarst and exokarst ecosystems of Santander has increased significantly.
