El presente proyecto pretende analizar los efectos de los procesos de urbanización de la UPZ 73 y 74 de la ciudad de Bogotá sobre la cobertura vegetal y el espejo hídrico del Humedal Jaboque en los últimos 31 años. Para ello, se realizó un escenario retrospectivo de los cambios sobre las coberturas de la tierra a través del procesamiento de imágenes satelitales Landsat 4, 6, 7 y Sentinel II, con base a este se determinó el grado de asociación entre la unidades de cobertura y sus variaciones espacio temporales a través del cálculo del coeficiente de correlación lineal de Pearson; lo anterior permitió establecer que el 99,68% de los cambios espaciales sobre el Humedal Jaboque pueden explicarse por los procesos de urbanización, aquellos que para el año 2019 ocuparon 286,344 Ha que correspondían a áreas con vegetación herbácea y/o arbustiva en 1988. La interpretación de estas dinámicas espaciales, dieron paso a la formulación de una propuesta de Zonificación Ambiental enmarcada en el contexto sobre el cual se ha desarrollado Humedal Jaboque.

This project aims to analyze the effects of the urbanization processes of the UPZ 73 and 74 in the city of Bogota on the vegetation cover and water mirror of the Jaboque Wetland in the last 31 years. To this end, a retrospective scenario of changes in land coverage was carried out through the processing of Landsat 4 satellite images, 6, 7 and Sentinel II, based on this, the degree of association between the coverage units and their temporal space variations was determined through the calculation of the Pearson linear correlation coefficient; this allowed us to establish that 99.68% of the spatial changes on the Jaboque Wetland can be explained by the processes of urbanization, those that by 2019 occupied 286,344 ha corresponding to areas with herbaceous and/or shrubby vegetation in 1988. The interpretation of these spatial dynamics gave way to the formulation of an Environmental Zoning proposal framed in the context on which Humedal Jaboque has been developed.
