Aplicación de un modelo de simulación para el crecimiento y desarrollo de feijoa (Acca Sellowiana (O.Berg) Burret).

Actualmente, esta fruta se ubica entre las diez especies frutícolas agroindustriales promisorias en Colombia, pues se destaca por ser una fruta exótica, con gran potencial en los mercados extranjeros. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo simular el crecimiento de la feijoa (A. sellowiana (O.Berg) Burret) mediante la toma de datos meteorológicos como Temperatura, Precipitación (Riego) y Radiación Fotosintéticamente Activa (RFA) para ser introducidos en las fórmulas de Wang & Engel y Coeficiente de extinción de luz (-k) para medir variables de crecimiento y desarrollo como altura, numero de ramas, numero hojas, botones florales, Índice de Área Foliar (IAF) y Radiación absorbida (Ra) con base en cinco tratamientos de riego (0%, 25%, 50%, 75% y 100%) y con el objetivo de aumentar la altura de siemb del cultivo para combatir plagas y enfermedades propias de los ecosistemas actuales.

Currently, this fruit is among the ten promising agro-industrial fruit species in Colombia, as it stands out for being an exotic fruit, with great potential in foreign markets. The present research work aims to simulate the growth of feijoa (A. sellowiana (O.Berg) Burret) by taking meteorological data such as Temperature, Precipitation (Irrigation) and Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) to be introduced in the equation of Wang & Engel and Light Extinction Coefficient (-k) to measure growth and development variables such as height, number of branches, number of leaves, flower buds, Leaf Area Index (LAI) and Absorbed Radiation (Ra) with base in five irrigation treatments (0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) and with the aim of increasing the planting height of the crop to combat pests and diseases typical of current ecosystems.
