Show more [+] Less [-][EN]A new species of sphaerodorid polychaete. Sphaerodorum ophiurophurctos nov. sp., is described. Il is characterized by two rows of dorsolateral macrocrotubercles with terminal papillae and two rows of dorsal microtubercles wirhout basal collars, as well as by simple setae tiaving both outer and inner denticles. S. ophiurophoretus has been collectcd near Wimereux (Pas-de-Calais, France) where it is symbiotic with the ophiuroid Amp/~~>hoiqi.us amata (DELLEC HIAJE1,8 28).
