Speaking at scientific meetings: Organising the message
1991
Tripathi, B.R.
A good scientist has not only to be a good researcher but also an able communicator. To be an effective communicator, one must have a well organised message and the skill to present it. This module deals with the art of organising the message for speaking at scientific meetings. It defines the three guiding principles in selecting the content of the message, discusses how to organise and outline the talk and how to prepare a script of the talk. This is done through 62 slides and a narrated tape. The slides and narration are printed in a booklet. The module also provides self test questions and reference materials.
