For the first time, for the synthetically derived multifunctional pheromone of bee queen – 9-oxo-2E-decenoic acid – it was revealed previously unknown significant pharmacological properties in the nest of bees: anti-varroatosis action, anti-bacterial and fungicidal activity at foul brood diseases and askosferoze, indicating that the implementation of queen in the hive has medically proved beneficial effects .
