Produtividade de hortaliças (alface, brócolis e rúcula) em resposta ao tratamento com ácidos húmicos e bactérias promotoras de crescimento em unidades de agricultura familiar | Productivity vegetables (lettuce, broccoli and arugula) in response to treatment with humic acids and growth promoting bacteria in the family agriculture

A produção de hortaliças é uma atividade agrícola que gera renda e empregos para milhões de brasileiros, além da produção de alimentos fundamentais a uma dieta equilibrada e saudável. A alface, o brócolis e a rúcula são hortaliças com espaço no mercado nacional, o qual tem como desafio atender à procura e melhorar a qualidade dos produtos. Esses cultivos são exigentes em nutrientes e os solos brasileiros, em sua maioria, carecem de fertilidade natural para suprir essa demanda, necessitando de elevadas doses de fertilizantes para alcançar incrementos na produtividade e qualidade. Uma opção para esse problema é o uso de resíduos orgânicos e microorganismos benéficos, ambos com grande potencial para reduzir o uso de fertilizantes minerais, por atuarem em processos fisiológicos das plantas estimulando o crescimento e desenvolvimento vegetal. Estudos comprovam que frações bioativas da matéria orgânica, como os ácidos húmicos (AH), afetam o metabolismo das plantas provocando uma série de respostas, entre elas o aumento da produtividade. As bactérias promotoras de crescimento em plantas (BPCP) realizam simbioses que promovem benefícios à planta hospedeira, incluindo absorção, assimilação e fixação de nutrientes, antibioses e resistência a estress. Por essas características os AH e as BPCP podem incrementar a produtividade vegetal, sendo, portanto, o objetivo desse estudo avaliar a eficiência da aplicação de ácidos húmicos e de bactérias promotoras de crescimento, isolada e combinada, em incrementar a produtividade e a qualidade nutricional de hortaliças (alface, brócolis e rúcula) em sistemas convencionais de cultivo. O experimento foi realizado em campo com produtores rurais familiares em sistema de cultivo convencional, em delineamento em blocos casualizados, consistindo de 4 tratamentos para cada hortaliça testada e 5 repetições: aplicação isolada de AH e bactérias (BPCP), aplicação conjunta de AH e BPCP, via pulverização foliar no momento do transplantio das mudas para o canteiro e como controle (CONTR), o manejo convencional dos agricultores para a obtenção de hortaliças com padrão comercial na CEASA da Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Os AH utilizados foram isolados de compostagem de esterco bovino e as BPCP foram extraídas de orquídea Cymbidium sp.. Foram avaliadas as características de crescimento das espécies (altura, comprimento e largura da maior folha, circunferência, diâmetro e massa fresca e seca da porção comercial das plantas) e o conteúdo de nutrientes minerais (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn e Zn). Os resultados foram submetidos à ANOVA, os efeitos dos tratamentos, assim como o efeito de cada tratamento entre as três hortaliças foram comparados por contrastes médios, utilizando o Teste F, no software estatístico R. Os tratamentos bioestimulantes promoveram incremento nas características de produtividade e no conteúdo de nutrientes minerais das hortaliças testadas. A alface foi à hortaliça com maior incremento relativo, com incremento na maioria das variáveis avaliadas, sendo o tratamento combinado de AH+BPCP, 48% superior ao CONTR em relação à biomassa seca produzida. O brócolis apresentou respostas positivas e negativas aos tratamentos com bioestimulantes, com resultados diversas vezes não significativos, mas apresentando aumento significativo do conteúdo de alguns nutrientes minerais avaliados em relação ao controle. A rúcula também apresentou respostas positivas, com incrementos nas características de crescimento e no conteúdo de nutrientes, principalmente na biomassa fresca e seca da parte aérea (tratamento com AH+BPCP 44% superior ao CONTR, tratamento BPCP 54% maior que o CONTR, respectivamente), além de obter incremento em todos os nutrientes avaliados. As espécies avaliadas responderam de forma distinta às mesmas doses de bioestimulantes, com a alface apresentando as melhores respostas nos tratamentos AH e AH+BPCP e a rúcula com as melhores respostas ao tratamento BPCP. O brócolis apresentou crescimento inferior às outras plantas em todos os tratamentos. A aplicação combinada de AH e BPCP destaca-se como tecnologia a ser empregada no cultivo de alface e rúcula, incrementando a produtividade e o conteúdo de nutrientes minerais dessas hortaliças.

Vegetable production is an agricultural activity that generates income and jobs for millions of Brazilians, besides the production of basic food to a balanced and healthy diet. Lettuce, broccoli and rocket are vegetables with space in the domestic market, which is challenged to meet demand and improve product quality. These crops are demanding in nutrients and Brazilian soils, mostly lack natural fertility to meet this demand, requiring high doses of fertilizers to achieve increases in productivity and quality. One option for this problem is the use of organic waste and beneficial microorganisms, both with great potential to reduce the use of mineral fertilizers, because they act in physiological processes in plants by stimulating plant growth and development. Studies show that bioactive fractions of organic matter, such as humic acid (HA), affect the metabolism of plants causing a range of responses, including increased productivity. The growth promoting bacteria in plants (GPBP) perform symbioses that beneficially affect the host plant, including absorption, assimilation and fixing nutrients antibioses and resistance to stress. For these characteristics the HA and GPBP can increase plant productivity, and therefore the objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of application of humic acids and growth promoting bacteria, isolated and combined, to enhance the productivity and nutritional quality vegetables (lettuce, broccoli and rocket) in conventional systems. The experiment was carried out in the field with family farmers in conventional farming system, delineations in cazualizados blocks, consisting of 4 treatments for each tested vegetable and 5 repetitions: Isolated application of HA and bacteria (GPBP), joint implementation of HA and GPBP, foliar spray at the time of transplanting the seedlings to the site and as a control (CONTR), the conventional management of farmers to obtain vegetables with commercial standard in CEASA the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. HA used were isolated from cattle manure composting and GPBP were extracted from orchid Cymbidium sp.. We evaluated the growth characteristics of the species (height, length and width of the largest sheet, circumference, diameter, fresh and dry weight of the commercial portion plants) and the content of nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn). The results were submitted to ANOVA, the effects of treatments, as well as the effect of each treatment between the three vegetables were compared average contrasts using the F test, the statistical software R. The biostimulant treatments promoted increase in productivity features and content of nutrients of the vegetables tested. The lettuce was the vegetable with the highest relative increase, an increase in the majority of variables, and the combined treatment of HA+GPBP, 48% higher than the CONTR in the dry biomass produced. Broccoli showed positive and negative responses to treatments with biostimulants, with no significant results several times, but showing a significant increase in the content of some mineral nutrients assessed in relation to the control. The rocket also showed positive responses, with increases in growth characteristics and nutrient content, especially in fresh and dry biomass of the aerial part (treatment with HA+GPBP 44% higher than the CONTR, GPBP treatment 54% higher than the CONTR respectively), in addition to obtaining increased in all evaluated nutrients. These species responded differently to the same doses of biostimulants with lettuce presenting the best answers in the HÁ and HA+GPBP treatments and rocket with the best answers to GPBP treatment. Broccoli had lower growth other plants in all treatments. The combined application of HA and GPBP stands out as technology to be employed in lettuce and rocket cultivation, increasing productivity and content of nutrients of these vegetables.
