[ES]En este estudio se ha producido biodiésel utilizando como materia prima aceite de oliva virgen usado en frituras. Se ha analizado la densidad, viscosidad y rendimiento en FAME del biosiésel obtenido para comprobar si cumple con los estándares de la normativa europea EN 14214, concluyendo que puede ser comercializado como tal. Además, se han estudiado y optimizado tres factores en la producción de biodiésel mediante transesterificación convencional: temperatura, tiempo de reacción y contenido en exceso de metanol, concluyendo que todos han mostrado una influencia positiva sobre el rendimiento en FAME, si bien el factor con mayor influencia ha sido la temperatura, seguido del porcentaje en exceso de metanol utilizado, y con una menor influencia de tiempo de reacción.
Show more [+] Less [-][EN]In this study, the raw material for the biodiesel production has been used domestic virgin olive oil. The density, viscosity and FAME yields of the biodiesel obtained have been analyzed to verify if it meets with the European standard EN 14214, concluding that it can be marketed as such. Moreover, three independent variables or factors in the production of biodiesel by conventional transesterification have been studied and optimized: the temperature, the reaction time and the excess methanol content, concluding that all theme have shown a positive influence on the FAME yields, although the factor with the greatest influence in the experimental range tested has been the temperature, followed by the percentage in excess of methanol used, and with a lower influence of reaction time.
