The present investigation has more than enough height of the damage caused by larvas of Rupella albinella (Cramer), in three varieties of rice, I lower three systems of handling of water he/she was carried out in lands of the Agricultural Ability of Science of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located in the Km 7 ½ of the road Babahoyo - Montalvo. Show more [+] Less [-]La presente investigación sobre altura del daño ocasionado por larvas de Rupella albinella (Cramer), en tres variedades de arroz, bajo tres sistemas de manejo de agua se realizó en terrenos de la Facultad de Ciencia Agropecuarias de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, ubicada en el Km 7 ½ de la vía Babahoyo – Montalvo. Los objetivos planteados fueron determinar la influencia del sistema de manejo de agua sobre la altura del daño ocasionado por R. albinella en el tallo del arroz, determinar el nivel poblacional de larvas y adultos de R. albinella bajo diferentes sistemas de manejo de agua y establecer el porcentaje de ataque de larvas de R. albinella bajo cada uno de los sistemas de manejo de agua utilizados. El material genético estudiado corresponde a semillas de arroz de las variedades: INIAP 14, F-50 e INIAP 16.
