Incidencia de virosis en el cultivo de sandía (Citrullus lanatus L), en el Ecuador

The present bibliographic research was carried out in order to study the different behaviors of viruses in watermelon cultivation in Ecuador, for this, positions of several authors were analyzed, reflected in books, scientific journals, sketches on the Web, etc., Therefore, it was determined that the damage caused by viruses in the watermelon crop appears from the beginning of the vegetative phenological development of the crop and in turn has an impact on its reproductive development; However, there are several methods and techniques, whether chemical, such as; correct dosage of agrochemicals suitable for the control of insect pests and weeds, which act as natural vectors and in addition to this there are also manual controls, such as; placement of colored traps in the cultivation plots, which even acts as an ecological or organic medium, among other methods reflected in this study. Therefore, it was recommended to carry out field days, links with the community, undergraduate and postgraduate thesis, to improve the problem raised as much as possible

La presente investigación bibliográfica se la realizó con la finalidad de estudiar los diferentes comportamientos de los virus en el cultivo de sandía en el Ecuador, para ello se analizaron posturas de varios autores plasmadas en libros, revistas científicas, bosquejos en la Web, etc., Por lo cual se determinó que los daños ocasionados por los virus en el cultivo de sandía aparecen desde el inicio del desarrollo fenológico vegetativo del cultivo y a su vez tiene repercusión en su desarrollo reproductivo; no obstante existen varios métodos y técnicas ya sean químicos, como; correcta dosificación de agroquímicos adecuados para el control de insectos plagas y malezas, los cuales actúan como vectores naturales y además de esto también existen controles de tipo manual, tales como; colocación de trampas de colores en las parcelas del cultivo, lo cual actúa incluso como un medio ecológico u orgánico, entre otros métodos plasmados en este estudio. Por lo tanto, se recomendó realizar días de campo, vínculos con la colectividad, tesis de pregrado y postgrado, para mejorar en lo posible la problemática planteada.
