This document detailed the quality of water for irrigation and its possible effect on crop yield. The physical-chemical composition of the water or also the mineral composition of the water and the presence of solid or organic substances is what determines the quality of water for irrigation. The conclusions determined that the quality parameter within the use of water for irrigation in agriculture is closely related to fertigation, which encompasses different factors, among which the concentrations of dissolved salts, presence of salinity, sodility, pH, content stand out. of carbonates, concentration of elements of chlorine, sodium, boron, calcium, magnesium and sulfates, which determine the balance of the application of fertilizers when a nutrient solution is applied; the concentration of salts in the irrigation water reduces the water available for the plantations, because the plant makes a greater effort to absolve it, which causes physiological stress due to dehydration, affecting its growth and the quality of water for irrigation is very important because It varies according to the type, the amounts of dissolved salts and as the factors with pH, salinity, sodium, toxicity and heavy metals increase, the yield problems in crops increase.

La composición física- química del agua o también composición mineral del agua y la presencia de sustancias solidas u orgánicas es lo que determina la calidad de agua para riego. Las conclusiones determinaron que el parámetro de calidad, dentro del uso de agua para riego en la agricultura está íntimamente relacionado con la fertirrigación, que engloba diferentes factores entre los que se destacan las concentraciones de sales disueltas, presencia de salinidad, sodilidad, pH, contenido de carbonatos, concentración de elementos de cloro, sodio, boro, calcio, magnesio y sulfatos, los cuales determinan el balance de la aplicación de fertilizantes cuando se aplica una solución nutritiva; la concentración de sales en el agua de riego reduce el agua disponible para las plantaciones, debido a que la planta realiza mayor esfuerzo para absolverla, lo que causa estrés fisiológico por deshidratación, afectando su crecimiento y la calidad de agua para riego es muy importante porque varía según el tipo, las cantidades de sales disueltas y a medida que los factores con pH, salinidad, sodicidad, toxicidad y metales pesados aumentan, se incrementan los problemas de rendimiento en los cultivos.
