A revised list of mamalian fossils from the Vallesian localities Can Llobateres and Can Ponsich (Valles-Penedes basin, Spain) is given and the following species of Carnivora described. Indarctos vireti, validated as the most primitive Indarctos known. Ursavus brevirhinus and U. primaevus as associated but distinct species. Protursus simpsoni n .g., n.sp . as an early member of the Ursinae. Amphicyon cf. maior and Canidae indet.
