EGHNA, has high prevalence and is strongly related to obesity and diabetes, with great impact at the health level since it is one of the largest causes of end-stage liver disease and transplantation. There are no specific drugs approved for its treatment, only lifestyle changes show benefits: food plan, based on the Mediterranean diet (high in olive oil, fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts and fish) weight reduction (5-10%) and exercises (aerobic 3 times a week or resistance 2 times a week).
