Countermeasures for Construction of Industrialized Innovation Platforms

The marine pharmaceutical and biological product industry is one of the marine strategic emerging industries that China has cultivated. Its development cannot be separated from the scientific research support of first-class innovation platforms. Currently, China’s marine pharmaceutical and biological product industry lacks a support of a strong national industrialized innovation platform. This study investigates the development experience and existing problems of innovation platform in the marine pharmaceutical and biological product industry, and sorts out the policy, technology, and industry status in Xiamen for construction of industrialized innovation platforms, and puts forward countermeasures: optimize institutional mechanisms, clarify positioning and capabilities, facilitate talent exchange and upward channels for the layout of a national level innovation platform to promote the development of marine pharmaceutical and biological product industry.
