The integrated rural development project in North-West-Benoue (Cameroon) is described briefly. Some details are give on the human health activities, the results are analysed and some negative aspects of the project mentioned. There is great concern about the future of the displaced populations, and it is regretted that the programmes are not discussed with the beneficiairies. Important difficulties within the managerial staff occur at times.
