GERMINAÇÃO DE SEMENTES E EMERGÊNCIA DE PLÂNTULAS DE BARU (Dipteryx alata Vog.) NOS CERRADOS DO ESTADO DE GOIÁS SEED GERMINATION AND PLANTETS EMERGENCY OF BARU (Dipteryx alata Vog.) IN CERRADOS FROM THE GOIÁS STATE

<p class="western" align="justify">O objetivo deste trabalho foi verificar a ocorrência e distribuição de variações genéticas e fenotípicas em populações de plantas de baru (Dipteryx alata Vog.). O ensaio foi conduzido com 150 plantas originárias de três regiões do Estado de Goiás, num total de 50 plantas por região, escolhidas, aleatoriamente, no ano de 1995. Foram analisadas sementes e plântulas quanto às suas características de emergência e desenvolvimento inicial. Adotou-se para o ensaio o modelo hierárquico com os níveis de regiões, plantas dentro de regiões e frutos dentro de planta. Não houve variação para percentual de emergência de plantas e índice de velocidade de emergência, em quaisquer dos níveis testados. Houve variação, entre e dentro de regiões, para velocidade de emergência em dias, altura e diâmetro basal aos 30 dias após a emergência das plantas. Maior proporção da variabilidade foi observada entre plantas dentro de regiões, com altos níveis de herdabilidade, no sentido amplo, para todas as variáveis estudadas.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Baru; espécies nativas; cerrados; população.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">This study had as aim verifying the occurrence and distribution of genetic and fenotipic variation among tested populations of baru plants (Dipteryx alata vog.) Thus an assay was carried out with 150 plants from three regions of Goiás State. It had 50 plants per region, and it were randomizes choiced at 1995. Seeds and plantets were analysed about germination and emergency and initial development characters. The experiment was planted as hierarchal model with regions level, plants within regions and fruits within plants. There was’nt variation about plant emersion percentage and emersion velocity index. There was variation about emersion velocity (days). Plant height and base diameter at 30 days after emersion showed variation at regions and plants within regions levels. The most variation proportion was founded at plants within regions level with high levels of transmission to all characters.</p> <p class="western" align="justify">KEY-WORDS: Baru; native species; cerrados; population.</p>
